Kaiju Warning System

A workshop focusing on symbols, I took the project down the route of an early warning system inspired by MINDEF’s Mob Manning call ups. In a fictional world where Kaijus exist, an effective broadcast is needed to warn citizens of the threat they are facing. These broadcasts warn of the natural disasters caused by these monsters.
For a message to work, some information has to take priority. This threat profile quickly inform citizens on how the monster looks, along with a symbol for ease of identification.This alert describes a possible tsunami scenario where a monster swims close to shore.Foot prints are used to symbolise an earthquake.Motion/Illustration
